How does it work? Super easy. While streaming you use the /shoutout command to send me a shoutout. You will then be automatically sent a return shoutout(note based on queue length takes a couple minutes to a couple hours).
Example: you’re streaming - you type /shoutout hitsquadgodfather - within a couple of minutes you will receive a shoutout from hitsquadgodfather.
What if I don't have very many followers or viewers? No worries! This is a new feature to help fellow streamers grow all for free.
I did a shoutout but didnt get one back? You need at least 1 viewer(i believe) that isn't yourself for a shoutout to go through and notify my system to send you one back. You could also be on the ignore list if your content was reported to me as not being appropriate or following twitch guidelines.
How many times can I exchange shoutouts? Limit is 1 time per week per streamer, so you should probably do it when you have something cool going on you’d like more people to see.
