I'm Mirggles and it's DELIGHTFUL to meet you.
I am a professional storyboard artist, 2D animator and filmmaker. I spend my days drawing and bringing stories and characters to life, and I love to hang out with you and do the same thing. Whether it's fanart, animation, storyboarding, making a film, or deep chats about everything and nothing, I hope you'll find our home to be a chill place to... well, chill.

My new schedule is as follows!

Due to the current quarantine restrictions, sometimes I might be late or have to mute to accommodate Denkii's work- meetings and calls, etc. I'll be posting my stream announcements on Twitter and in our Discord, should anything come up.
One of the main things I do on this channel is work on my second short film, Bath! (That's a working title. Oh titles.)
The film is a Fantasy/Realism film about how our minds can sometimes be our worst enemy, and what we can do to return to ourselves. It's a personal film, one that asks us "What is your "bath"?
I am documenting every part of the filmmaking process- from storyboards, to animatics, backgrounds to animation, and compositing to final edit (don't forget sound design!).
I have been saying I'd make my second film for years, but this community has helped me keep accountability and dedication- I wouldn't be doing it without you, so thank you.
FAQ:
What are you making the film in, program wise? Storyboards and backgrounds are done in Photoshop. Animation will be done in TVPaint. Compositing will be done in After Effects, and the edit is done in Premiere.
How long is the film?
Current run time is around 5 minutes!
How long does it really take to make a 5 minute film? Well we started storyboards in January 2020, and as I am writing this it is September 2020 and we are halfway through painting backgrounds. I expect it to be about one more year of production (if I am lucky!) Animation is a time consuming and technical art form that takes a long time to make, especially hand drawn 2D.
The film feels very personal. Is it?
Yes. Write what you know! However, I hope it's a film that you can relate to and you find some solace in.
To begin- be lovely to each other.
Please no back-seat gaming or back-seat drawing!
For creative streams, I unfortunately will not be taking requests in chat unless otherwise specified. All artwork made on stream belongs to me, so please do not save or share images of my work without my consent.
I am so happy to see you here. We all are glad to meet you, and together we can build a community of love, acceptance, and intergalactic friendship.
