My first DJ gig was in the UK when I was just 12, first club gig at 15 before turning professional at 17. I left the UK for my first international gigs at 18 and since then, I’ve been fortunate to have played all over the place. Along the way, I branched out into other areas - I made pop albums in the Philippines & Japan, did some acting (very badly), TV hosting (MTV Japan), Radio and production. The constant throughout everything... I started as a DJ and I'll always be one!
We take great pride on being a positive, happy & uplifting channel. You will always get a greet from me personally, and we think our Mods are the friendliest on Twitch (no offense to other amazing channel mods!). New viewers are always welcomed in with open arms. Our chat is fast moving - there are often more than 10,000 messages on a busy stream, don't let that worry you - just dive in and say hi - you'll be welcomed - and be ready to make new friends around the world
In addition to our friends who come just for the music, the tip links during the stream are for philanthropic purposes - we use the tips to help support a number of causes in the Philippines. On top of this, from time to time there are specific fundraisers on the channel to raise funds for a specific cause. We are very fortunate that since we started the show in March of 2020, we have been able to help thousands of people, and helping others is at the core of the "Sanctuary Family".
Like many streamers - we are always trying to improve the quality of the show on a very tight budget! Currently on the list, Cameras: https://tinyurl.com/y4tjraap Speakers: https://tinyurl.com/aua83jav Macbook: https://tinyurl.com/c62uxe5s
Our mission has evolved. When we started March 2020, it was just to provide some escapism and fun to people stuck at home in lockdown around the world. Since then, the community has evolved into a family (SancFam) - the additional mission now is to help as many people as we possibly can. To date, the Sanc Fam has helped to build housing for Typhoon victims, has provided funds for the Pediatric Cancer wing of a hospital in Manila, supported an organization that looks after abandoned children with cerebral palsy, raised funds for a school for those with special needs, provided emergency relief to flood victims, emergency relief to areas affected by the Taal Volcano. These are just a few examples of what the SancFam has done over the last few years.
