... with an NES controller! is a challenge where I beat games using fewer buttons than what is normally available. Obviously this isn't going to include games on NES, Master System, GameBoy etc.
This is a fun idea I had back in October 2022 for my Partner Anniversary on Twitch, where I beat Silent Hill 2 using an NES controller. At that time I was using a cheap USB one off ebay, since then I wanted to try this challenge with other games and have bought a Switch Online NES controller, which I am able to use on both PC and actual consoles using Bluetooth adapters.
