I work hard but try not to take myself too seriously. When I'm not spending my time hiking, watching movies, or playing video games, I can be found hugging the air-conditioner (or heater) in my home in North Indianapolis.
I grew up in southeastern Tennessee before chasing a girl across the country (listen, it was at her request, I swear). Before relocating to the pacific northwest, then the hellish deserts of southern Arizona, and eventually here in Indiana, I studied psychology and sociology at Chattanooga State. This was not a waste of time and money at all, as now I play video games for a living — completely related!
When I'm not being a jerk by forgetting to clean up the shaving debris in the sink or rinse out my cereal bowls before putting them in the dishwasher, I enjoy never being satisfied with my own work, cheeseburgers, piña coladas (manly ones, of course), video games, movies, music, reading (nothing with big words, naturally), and getting caught in the rain. You know, stuff that most people like — a real original.
I've played video games since I was 4 years old, starting with Mario Bros and never looking back. Over the years I've played every genre and have even been in the competitive (foreign) Brood War scene for a short time. Now days, with a business to run, a wife, and a child, I tend to play less multiplayer games and keep (most) of the competition against myself.

I’m a gaming masochist who finds peace in the middle of a dumpster fire. Whether I’m tackling a 500% No-Pause RimWorld run or stumbling through a blind horror game for the first time, my goal is simple: stay calm while the world ends.
This is a zero-elitism zone. I play on the hardest settings or stay !blind because I enjoy the puzzle. It's what I find fun. But there is no "right way" to play a single-player game. If you're having fun, you're doing it correctly. (And screw those random Redditors (or whoever) who try to tell you otherwise.)
Expect deep strategy, sarcasm, and dry humor in a low-decibel environment. I’m only human, I’ll definitely get annoyed when I miss that third 99% roll in a row in XCOM, but I keep the drama to a minimum and a volume you can sleep to.
