Pals & Paladins (PnP) is a cozy yet chaotic game played within our Twitch live chat! Designed to bring out the quirky humor and creativity of our community, PnP blends lighthearted role-playing elements with hilarious, unexpected twists. Whether you're guiding your fellow pals through whimsical adventures or facing off against potato-themed challenges (because potatoes are always the answer), PnP is all about laughter, teamwork, and embracing the fun of storytelling.
XP is always earned passively so even lurkers can gain it over time at a rate of 1 XP/hour during streams stream, but the most effective way if you’re trying to have the most on the leaderboard is by using the P&P game commands. We also have a daily log-in bonus channel point redemption which gives you an extra 50 rupees and 5 XP once per stream!
Rupees cannot be earned passively BUT as a bonus thank-you viewers will earn 1 rupee per bit that they cheer. The best way to earn rupees is, like with XP, doing the game commands in chat, dueling or stealing from other chatters for their rupees, and of course the daily log-in bonus. Rupees can be hoarded or spent at the shop in chat, although currently the only redemptions are custom discord roles. If you have any ideas or suggestions for possible shop additions, feel free to drop them in PnP-suggestions discord channel!

!shop - Lists all of the shop commands.
!shop list - Lists all of the available shop items.
!shop [item name] - List the price of the item, ex: !shop pnp og
!shop buy [item name] [amount] - Purchase and item with you rupees, ex: !shop buy pnp og 1
!pnp - Gives a brief overview of the game to chat.
!stats - Roll for you daily stats. This is to be used no more than once per stream and gives the user 1 XP.
!character - Find out your level, class, and race for the day. This is to be used no more than once per stream and gives the user 1 XP.
!XP - Check your current XP.
!rupees - Check your rupee wallet balance.
!duel - @mention someone in chat challenge them to duel for rupees, winner takes all. The winner will also receive 5 XP but the looser still receives 1 XP for participating.
!steal - @mention someone in chat to attempt to steal from them, but be careful, you might be the one to loose your rupees! The winner also receives 3 XP but the looser still receives 1 XP for participating. This command has a 5 minute global cooldown.
!dungeon - Form a party to go on an adventure for both rupees and XP! These events cost 25 rupees to participate in, which can be lost if the mission fails, but succeeding can land you a pretty nice payout. All party members will earn at least 1 XP, but any who succeed in making it out of the dungeon will earn 5 XP in addition to their loot.
!fairy - Drop your rupees in the fairy fountain and try to wake the Great Fairy! As more and more chatters contribute rupees to the fountain, the Great Fairy will get closer to waking. Once she wakes, the Great Fairy bestows a blessing upon anyone who types the specified message into chat within 30 seconds. This blessing includes a share of the rupees contributed in addition to a 5 XP bonus.
!scenario - This command gives you a random scenario to earn rupees and XP depending on your roll, but users will receive at least 1 XP just for playing it.!roll - Roll the on screen dice widget for a !scenario to determine your outcome or use channel points to roll just for fun. Successful rolls will give bonus XP and rupees but failed rolls will loose the user rupees. Once you’ve rolled, be sure to type the corresponding command to record your result and claim your rewards.
!critsuccess - Receive 50 rupees and 2 XP
!success - receive 20 rupees and 1 XP
!failure - loose 20 rupees and gain no extra XP
!critfailure - loose 50 rupees and gain no extra XP
