The purpose of this channel is mainly to support and help maintain the AmigaLive desktop application project and netplay servers. AmigaLive is a desktop front-end application which allows gamers to easily play and stream Amiga* games with me or other viewers by using the NetPlay feature available in FS-UAE*. (If you are easily offended, then this channel is definitely not for you to watch)

I am using the PacMan joystick by Aneroussis Control - Made in Greece. (Not being built anymore).
This is a 2 button joystick with the primary fire on the top left (right-handed stick), secondary button on the top right and an autofire push button in the middle which had the fastest autofire rate available for a joystick during its production.
This is the top, state of the art digital joystick ever built in the early 90s. Influenced by the earlier TomaHawk Joystick (by the same manufacturer) and GameBoy design (as seen by the shape and the grill).
The joystick uses Zippy micro-switches for all movements and fire buttons. The restictor gate is an octagonal metallic plate which is welded with the internal joystick frame. The exterior is a black hard-plastic case with a matte texture. 4 strong suction cups are at the base to keep a sturdy hold on glossy surfaces.
This version I have brought with me from Greece is the 15pin MIDI port PC version and I use a 15pin to USB adapter which cause a few delays.
After 30 years, I need to open it up and clean up the connectors with an electronics cleaning spray, as the connections are becoming un-responsive from time to time.. but every time I touch the joystick I just feel the need to play games.
Download the AmigaLive portable desktop app from www.amigalive.com and extract its contents
Launch AmigaLive and un-check the "Play Offline" option
Set "Players" to "1" if you are playing alone, or set to as many will be joining your game
Select "Broadcast session to twitch.tv/amigalive". This allows for my client to connect to your game as a spectator without the need for you to add an additional player. My client will not connect to more than 1 session at a time, so make sure nobody else is streaming at the time you start the game, as it is first come first serve.
if you are setting this up for the first time, select a unique 3 letter netplay tag (randomized by default) this will be the name we identify you when playing games with others online. if you also have a twitch account, under the twitch chat type in "!tag" followed by the 3 letter netplay-tag to associate your twitch name with the netplay-tag
Hit start and wait for everyone to connect (including my spectator client). if the game is frozen or does not start while everyone is already connected, use the !kill command in the chat to kill the client at my end, wait about 30 seconds and try again.
Additionally: You can connect to the Voice channel "Twitch Stream Live" for your voice to be broadcasted on the stream (if you have a microphone), or to listen to the TTS and instructions from connected players in real-time or even listen to music from the media player without having to listen to the stream echo while playing games. If you don't have a microphone you can use the Tab-key to chat in-game. if the user "ztronzo" is not in the voice channel, do not worry, once a game is started my user should connect to the voice channel to catch and broadcast your voice. The Discord voice channel is muted during scenes: intro, pause and outro
!dv : Force the user "ztronzo" to join the Discord Voice "Twitch Stream Live" channel
!tag : Assigns your twitch name to your AmigaLive netplay-tag (needs to be done just once, it will be stored so we know who is playing every time)
!hide : Hides the player/playlist
!show : Shows the player/playlist
!title (title of stream) : Changes the title
!pausestream : Switch to pauses scene and mutes the Discord voice channel
!unpause !continuestream !playstream : Switches back to the main game scene and unmutes the voice channel
!gametitle (title of game) : Changes the title of the game and who is playing
!kill : Terminates FS-UAE - DO NOT USE when someone is playing as it will cause his connection to break - use with caution or you will be muted from the chat
media-player commands:
!play or !p ( media-name ) !play or !p !stop !pause !skip or !next or !forward !back or !prev or !rewind !jumptotime ( position in time ) !jump ( seconds to jump ) !shuffle ( on | off ) !v or !volume ( 10-60 | min | low | normal | high | max ) !track or !song (shows name of current track) !hideplayer !showplayer !restart !reboot !relaunch (if media player is frozen)
!playlist ( 1 | 2 | 3 )
Not to be confused with the music player volume levels (check "Commands for music player") if the current in-game audio is too loud, any viewer can reduce the game audio levels:
!vg# : With a number range 1 to 10 !vg ## : With a number range 10 to 100
example: !vg 60 : Sets game audio level to 60%
Due to the fact that every Amiga game has its own audio levels, the in-game audio level reverts back to 40% during the start of each game
