I was an ordinary office worker going about the same routine, day in and day out. Things were stale but that was life, and I just went with the flow. But then one night on my way home from work, I thought I saw a rabbit in the road and went to go save it when...WHAM! The fated Truck-kun appeared and the world went dark...But only for a moment!
In a flurry of light and sparkles I landed in a heap in a clearing, ears ringing. When I could finally open my eyes and focus, I found myself looking into the eyes of a purple rabbit that was no bigger than a small stuffed toy.
"Oh good! You're not dead. That's a relief," the thing spoke and all I could do was scream and crawl away.

After I calmed down and listened to the creature who I came to know was called Twila and she is not a rabbit but a Magical Guardian Beast, I learn that I am in a new world where Magical Girls exist, and Twila summoned me to be one of the new protectors of Celestia City.
I also come to find out that I shouldn't have cat ears and a tail but when Twila was summoning me, a cat decided to pounce on her mid spell and...Bing. Bang, Boom. Here we are. She's asked that I say that I 'appeared' like this if anyone asks. Turns out little Twila flunked out of the Magical Beast Academy and summoned me in an effort to prove she can do the job. So, hell. Why not?
