In addition to being the creators of www.curtailedcomic.com, a slice-of-life webcomic, Mandy and Fox own a cop car they shouldn't have been able to get, have cosplayed with it at conventions and got married on Halloween wearing suits of medieval armor. To say they're atypical is putting it lightly.
Unfortunately Fox was stricken with a debilitating depression years ago that nothing seems to cure. Escaping into video games, he realized streaming might allow him to still entertain others while helping himself find some purpose once more.
Thus, Fox began streaming games he narrates and plays casually, to create a chill channel and vibe. Chat interaction is encouraged, and Fox actively looks for ways to get viewers more into the games he's playing.
"What's with the hat?" Fox likes to find ways to cosplay into the character he's playing. As a result he's got a growing number of hats available to switch to should someone redeem such a reward.
Here's the current list:
HATS Cowboy Newsie Musketeer Top hat Naval Captain's hat Patrol cap 8-point Police hat Arming Cap (Assassin's hood) Chainmail coif Black Trilby Blue Trilby Natural Trilby Black Fedora Brown Fedora Straw Fedora Camo Boonie
HOLIDAY: Christmas Fedora Christmas Stocking
ASSORTED: Goggles & Snorkel
WIGS Short Blonde Shaggy Brown Shaggy Red
HELMETS Clone Trooper Riot Control Medieval Bascinet
The helmets obscure the face and require some microphone rework so they're not available as a channel point reward at this time.
Skylanders is a series of games from 2011 to 2017 that required purchase of physical figures to play respective characters. It was incredibly popular and birthed the Toys-To-Life genre.
Due to a unique series of events, Fox ended up being able to obtain every single character from every single game. This is uncommon, to say the least.
The game was part of a lot of childhoods, so we like to stream it for the nostalgia factor. Perhaps more importantly, you can't just download it as you can with so many old games (as it requires hardware, too) so streaming it lets people experience it. Lastly, as we've every single character, it allows people to request we play Skylanders they didn't own to see that hero played!
