All money donates all money to Child's Play. Child's Play is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of children undergoing treatment in the hospital with toys and games. The charity supports a network of over 180 hospitals worldwide.
Child's Play also supports domestic violence support facilities and aims to provide opportunities for positive engagement, distraction, and play for children in domestic violence shelters and advocacy centres.
Desert Bus for Hope is the world’s longest running and most successful internet charity fundraiser. Started by internet comedy powerhouse LoadingReadyRun in 2007, we’ve raised more than $11 million dollars for the Child’s Play Charity , an organization that donates toys, games and money to Children’s hospitals all over the world.
The more money we raise for Child’s Play, the longer the team must play Desert Bus, an unreleased Sega CD mini-game that is widely considered to be the worst game ever made.
Although watching us suffer through Desert Bus is amusing in its own way, we also entertain our viewers by taking requests. We are more than willing to sing, dance, take challenges to eat gross things, and act very silly in order to raise money for Child’s Play.

Child’s Play Charity is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in its network of over 180 hospitals worldwide.
Child’s Play donations are sent to partner hospitals and therapy facilities for the purchase of video games and consoles, toys, books and more. This allows children receiving treatment in these facilities to enjoy age-appropriate entertainment while interacting with their peers, friends, and family outside the lens of their illnesses. These donations also provide vital distraction from what is otherwise an unpleasant experience.
Child’s Play also works with traumatized youth in domestic violence facilities in the United States.
Desert Bus is a mini-game from the unreleased Sega CD game Penn and Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors. The game is a “verisimulator” — a tongue-in-cheek parody designed to approximate driving a commercial coach bus as closely as possible, including the associated tedium.
Players are asked to drive a coach bus from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada, a feat that takes 8 hours in real time. Although the road is perfectly straight and there are no turns or scenery to amuse the player, the game requires constant attention or the bus will crash. Upon arriving in Las Vegas the player is awarded one point, and is given the option to make an identical return trip.
It is truly, mind-boggling awful to play.
