My name is Dr. Doot!
I play challenge runs of games using an electric saxophone (Roland AE-10 Aerophone) as a game controller.
Every note that I play on the instrument is mapped to a button input in-game, meaning each run must be completed one DOOT at a time.
Feel free to ask me more about how it all works!
These are all of the challenge runs I have completed using an electric saxophone as a game controller.

A: Yes! I have a doctorate in Music Composition and taught college courses in music. Ask me music questions!
A: Since 2001, primarily Alto and Soprano, but I've played baritone and tenor too.
A: Yes! There's an air pressure sensor inside the mouthpiece - it even will trigger if I talk/laugh/breath too closely to it!
A: When I play a note on the aerophone, it sends MIDI signals to my PC. Those MIDI signals get translated to game inputs.
