Been dealing with some health issues for the last few years, and it's just taken everything I had just to get through it all. I was working throughout it but now I find myself in Romania with nothing but a suitcase of what I came here with, a laptop, and the will to go agane :)
I was diagnosed with Stage 3 endometriosis after years of fighting with doctors who repeatedly refused to believe I had endometriosis causing me pain. They would sit there googling info about the disease and come to the conclusion no, I didn't need to see a specialist. I just needed different birth control, etc. Meanwhile several surgeries later, in addition to the stuff in my pelvis it's also been found directly on my pudendal nerve in my pelvis, which was causing a whole shitshow of issues. The Bucharest Endometriosis Center (and Dr. Gabriel Mitroi) are the absolute GOATS for locating and excising it! Dr. Mitroi was able to assess this even over EMAIL, which was then confirmed during surgery. I cannot recommend them enough.
Unfortunately, things aren't over yet as I just found out I also have two hernias pressing on the same nerve from the spinal side recently, so I've got a consultation for my 5th surgery in 5 yrs coming up this January. I'm gonna need all the support and well wishes I can get through all this. And if I'm ever visibly in pain on stream, this is why. I'm doing my best to power through it and keep it together, but it is no easy task with the severity of the symptoms. Thankfully I'm getting much better treatment here and the new medication batch I'm on has been helping so much more.
