I am Goati_. From Rome, Italy, I broadcast in English.
I have a history of Japanese language studies and I have worked as a chef and a programmer.
I mainly stream MegaDrive games (see "Sega Mega Marathon"), with a focus on researching their history, being informative and beating them without any help.
Other things I like to stream include fishing games and lightgun games; also Italian games and Japanese exclusives in general.
Any outstanding artwork on the stream, be it pixelart or 3D, is done by retro_christian.
If you would like to rent my expert gaming services to see a game crumble under my might, if you would like to witness greatness and see a game beaten -or maybe just streamed- then you might feel free to contact me to "sponsor the stream" and make me play your game of choice.
It's called Rent a Hero, not Rent a Homeless Gamer With Fisher Price Controllers, so of course we will have to agree on an adequate dollar fee...
If you would like to support, there are fun interactive ways to do so by clicking the above banner or this link
Any donation equivalent or greater than 1$ (or 100 bits) will be read by a robot, unless otherwise specified! The alerts are the same whether you support with money or Twitch's cheer system.
Bit menu: (100 bit = $1)
Any support is of great motivation!

This is the channel's main focus: beating every game on my favorite system. That'd be over 1000 (includes games from all regions, unlicensed games, unreleased games, homebrews..)
That typically happens on a Japanese Model 1 Megadrive, sometimes on a European Model 1 for PAL games. If I don't own the game, I will use a flashcart.
No hints or help outside from the game box/manual are ever allowed. In some cases, like EA manuals, the included hintbook will be ignored.
In fact, no help of any kind is permitted: that means it is illegal in all states, for chat users, to provide hints, guesses or helpful comments.
Every game is played on default or harder settings, I don't like it otherwise. Cheats, convenient passwords or pause-abusing are other things I don't like doing and thus will not happen.
When I say every game is beaten, I mean it: not necessarily a 100% clear, but either I reach the credits screen or I beat all content.
I like all kinds of videogames and normally don't make platform distinctions. I'm aware it is a dumb project, but I am also extremely passionate about the SEGA Mega Drive and it gives me extreme peaks of satisfaction to research, play and beat each title.
You can click here or on the image to access the list of games (more to be added). Click on the buttons on the bottom left corner to change tabs, accessing the beaten games and the rankings.
Best of Nintendon't 7 SCHEDULE
In these online worldwide marathon events you will see many interesting games across various old platforms that aren't normally recognized and talked about, and, mostly, casual-oriented gameplay, as the objective is to expose such kind of games and not necessarily to display skills. That is it, it isn't a speedrun event or a Sega-focused one.
Here are links to the schedules from previous editions:
