I'm Grimith (he/him). I play video games and disparage people. You're welcome. I am boisterous and profane. I enjoy sarcasm and gallows humor. I have no set schedule or game selection. I understand the inconvenience. I try to foster a place where viewers - like me - can indulge in escapism and substance.
What I do here ain't popularity-driven. I've never much cared for the numbers. Hell, most Twitch global emotes are blocked using Twitch's own word filter. If I wanted to make money, then I would have made different life choices. It is a continuing struggle to set aside Corporate Grimith's greed.
Beyond Twitch's Community Guidelines...
I am churlish and capricious, so my response to violations varies. Lot of imprecision here. I regularly purge my banned lists; after all, everyone makes mistakes. Especially me.
I have broadcasted sporadically over the past decade across several streaming services. From Justin.tv to Twitch to hitbox (now Smashcast) to Beam (now Mixer) and back here. I broadcast for interactivity. There are occasional viewer democracy events. Services with low stream delay make that easier. Services with stability issues make that... less easy. I've been back on Twitch since mid-2018 because the low latency beta meshed well with the service's consistency. Nothing quite compares to Mixer's FTL protocol or Smashcast's spiffy UI tools, but they're all for naught if too many of my viewers are unable to watch.
Of course, you're most likely to find me through my YouTube channel. I've been doing non-live content since March 2010.
