BIO: Luke first picked up his father's acoustic guitar at the age of 12, and quickly discovered his natural ability. He proceeded to teach himself without any formal instruction, and progressed swiftly through use of computer software and the internet. He now enjoys performing intricate solo pieces from a wide variety of musical genres.
Luke is a former winner of the Utah State Acoustic Instrument Championships for finger-style guitar (Founder's Title Folk & Bluegrass Festival, Snowbird, UT, July 2007.) He also represented Utah at the National Championships (Walnut Valley Music Festival, Winfield, KS, Sept 2007.) He has performed on public stage and private gatherings in a variety of settings.
