My name is Curtis and I am happy to have you call me by my name, or Sinner / Immer / Immersive, I am quickly approaching my 40s and as such I have a lot of nostalgia for games so old nobody remembers them. So I hope you're into that because I'll be playing retro PC titles from the late 80s and through the 90s pretty often. I have a music degree majoring in digital production and research, and I use my skills and training to design electronics for music gear, produce music, perform, and build musical instruments.
Immersive Sinner is a play-on-words for my favorite game genre, Immersive Sims. From Ultima Underworld, to more modern titles like Prey and the System Shock remake. I am constantly wondering about changing the name of this channel to something that reflects my goals for streaming and life in general, so I will be talking about it as I work out a potential re-brand of my entire online presence in the coming months.
I have 3 kids who live with their mother, and I don't see them often, but sometimes they will pop in the stream to hang out, and they each have their own chat command to display an avatar hanging at the top of the screen to let me know when they are watching. So keep an eye out.

I am currently learning Japanese. I have a goal to move to Japan in the future, to base my business there and emigrate permanently. I would love to make this stream fully bilingual, but for now I am not confident in my abilities speaking Japanese, but I will speak on my learning from time to time, and would love to meet any Japanese speakers, or share my journey as I go. Eventually I will have captions for both English and Japanese on stream, and a bot translating for everybody in the chat. Please say hello in either language. I would be happy for the practice.
I do build guitars on stream, for the moment my workshop is packed up due to a move, and those streams are on hold but it's a major reason I am streaming at all. For the time being I build guitar kits and repair / rework guitars I rescue to give away to kids. Thus far 2 guitars have been given away on stream, and I plan to do more.
I also specialize in building extended range guitars and basses, and am constantly in the works to launch my personal brand and company to take guitar commissions based on my designs. This is a long game I've been playing and you will see constant updates to the process as I get closer to my goal at launching my brand: Litchfield Baritone. So keep an eye out, and let me know if you ever want me to build you a guitar, or know a kid or somebody who really needs one, and maybe we can work out a surprise giveaway for a deserving person.
I will not question or second guess my moderators, If they decide that you are to be banned or muted, I will not challenge that decision, so be nice to the mods and follow the usual rules.
No hate speech, You know what hate speech is. So don't do it.
No Trauma Dumping, There's a section in the discord for support and commiseration if you wish to talk about things.
No backseat gaming unless asked for tips or whatever. Share your experiences about your favorite games, but don't push me to play the way you would, that's rude.
Trolling is trolling, if you think you can get past me, sure you probably can, but I promise my mods are experienced and will put up with a lot less than I will.

I was not planning on setting up a donation or tip link just yet. I wanted to show that I was serious about the charity aspect of my guitar building. Letting my friends and viewers help with the cost of getting materials for the guitars I give away. I don't charge for them, and that's fine, I"m not worried about recouping the costs, but it's handy if theres a bit of money there to purchase sand paper or other consumables. Soon I will replace this method with a Patreon account.
Thank you immensely for the support. I hope that if you choose to help in this way, you can feel like you have taken part in spreading the love and joy I feel when These guitars go out to their new owners.

I love music. Heck, I have a Music degree, but my passion for it has waned in recent years due to life events, anxiety, depression, and struggling to survive in our "Knife's edge of the apocalypse" Post American Dream society.
So I want to make an effort to remember why I loved music and maybe share it with you folk. I'm currently in the twighlight of my 30s and it's making me understand that I'm getting older, and my tastes might be outdated, the horror of it all. haha. So hey. Here are some playlists that helped shape who I am. I'll be adding more.
