My online alias is INSTILL
I came up with my name after looking in the dictionary for countless hours to think of a gamertag that fit me when I was playing Halo 2. I saw INSTILL and fell in love with the meaning, “To gradually but firmly establish (an idea or attitude, especially a desirable one) in a person's mind.”
The word INSTILL really resonated with me. I grew up as one of the natural born “leaders” if you will, in my neighborhood during adolescence. I am a really motivated person at heart and have worked over the years to develop a very positive mindset that continues to help me today. I have also always been very interested in the deeper meanings in life and often like to speak about it on stream and with friends. I feel like my name now represents my purpose, doing my best to add some value to at least one person’s day by sprinkling some good energy here and there.
I started my streaming journey in 2013 when Twitch was much different than it is now. I played several games killing my channel each time I switched. Ranging from DayZ to Halo to Paragon and eventually to Warzone, Tarkov & a TON of variety. I was eventually Partnered in March 2017 and that is when my journey really began where things really started to click.
For 10 years I have trained in Mixed Martial Arts and fought as a Professional Athlete in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Cage Fighting (MMA). In 2017 I became a NAGA Champion in Grappling and I still train to this day, but more as a hobbyist due to some injuries.
Growing up I started gaming with the Sega Genesis and I was hooked ever since, moving through each console that was released throughout the years experiencing each blockbuster game starting with the SEGA Genesis to now. I was really hooked on Halo which I started competing in during the Halo 3 MLG 2008 season, returning in 2016 with Halo 5, and finally 2021 with Halo Infinite, competing at HCS Raleigh. In 2013 I built my first actual gaming PC and I tried gaming on a keyboard and mouse but my hands/fingers were in a lot of pain due to training in BJJ & MMA so I learned to play on a hand keyboard (Razer Tartarus v2), using the thumbstick as WASD. I always get flamed for that but it helps with my hands not hurting while gaming. Call me weird idc lol
Currently I try to stream a few days a week at least by 9pm CST. Streaming and content creation is such a passion of mine and my goal is to bring my high energy, comedy and excellent quality streams to my friends while trying to add a little value to everyone’s day.
For work, I am the Sales & Business Development Manager for Mythic Talent. The #1 Talent Agency in the world on Twitch, bridging the gap between Talent and Brand relationships. I really do love my job and I really feel I make a difference everyday I step into my role.
Part owner and advisor of North American based Esports Organization NemesisGG, which I had built into the globally recognized brand since 2017. Nemesis has announced it's closure as of August 8th, 2024.
Between streaming, training and all of my work projects, I stay busy! This industry is such a passion of mine and I love learning new things, so it’s easier to push past my boundaries daily. I have always been a huge fan of Goku from the Dragonball series and his values, I am sure you can tell by now.
I typically stream every single day of the week if I can! Mostly live around 9pm CST daily. Stop by when I am live and catch a stream. <3
