What is your name? How did you get your Twitch name?

• I go by JD irl and my name came from 2 different sagas of my life. In high school a friend of mine gave me the nickname "jurd" and then overtime in the gaming world I added the "i" myself. Most of my in game names are Jurdi, and on twitch I just combined IRL and in game to make JurdiJD!

What is your career?

• I teach band to middle schoolers (grades 6-8) in the great state of Texas! I myself have been a band nerd since I was 12 and nearly 2 decades later here I am, an even bigger band nerd teaching future band nerds! My primary instruments are trumpet and percussion!

What are your types of games you play?

• I LOVE fantasy RPG games, MMOs, platformers, retro games, and an occasional FPS. I've been playing World of Warcraft since 2007, my all time favorite video game is Elden Ring, and my childhood games are the PS1 Crash Bandicoot games and almost every Super Mario game out there!

There are 3 reasons as to why I stream:

• I started streaming back in 2020 when the pandemic hit us. I did it purely for fun and for friends and family to hang while we had to be separated.

• As I continue to stream, I've noticed that I've actually been able to generate a small amount of revenue. I've decided that any and all money I make will go towards helping pay off my hefty student loan debt!

• Lowkey I talk to myself on the reg so I figured streaming would be easy for me to do lmfao
