I am a giant nerd for the underground electronic bass music scene, namely DNB/jungle, dubstep/140, UKG (garage), and breaks. The music I play is not mainstream or owned by corporate record labels- everything I play is created by underground producers and indie labels.
My purpose is to show you all that there is a beautiful thriving corner of the music industry that lives free from the capitalistic hellscape of the mainstream music industry. I love it deeply and passionately- nothing gives me more joy and through my streams I hope to share this joy with you.
I focus on deep, dark, soulful sounds with heavy basslines, entrancing rhythms and captivating vocals. My DJ project is the culmination of 7 years of intense obsession with finding the best of the least recognized. I care deeply about the histories and the origins of the sounds I play and pay my respects to the people who paved the way.

I'm also the owner of CouchFam, which is a grassroots organization supporting the underground bass music scene and works to make bass music and art more accessible to those who may not be able to attend live, in-person events and shows. CouchFam is also responsible for CouchFest, the groundbreaking livestreamed bass music fundraising event where we simulstreamed live DJs and VJs from all over the world for 48 hours straight to raise money for the artists participating in the event who had lost gig income due to the 2020 COVID quarantine. The first CouchFest raised almost $10,000 USD and every dollar was distributed evenly amongst the artists who participated in the event. It was one of the craziest things I've ever done, and is one of my life's proudest accomplishments.
I am a career UX designer and have a Masters degree from the VCU Brandcenter in Business/Branding with a specialty in Experience Design, which encompasses UX, UI and experiential design (which is interactive type stuff, like what you would see at Meow Wolf). I've worked for Facebook and Google. But more importantly, every day I try (and sometimes succeed) to find new ways to utilize my UX skills for things that are meaningful rather than soulless tech companies. CouchFam is one of those things.
