What in the world is this?
It's a tournament between the Civ4 AI leaders to see which one ultimately comes out on top.
Wait, are you REALLY just watching the AI play against itself?!
Yes, we are! It's surprising compelling in action. We did this seven times before and it was a huge success.
What are the details?
The game settings are Deity AIs, Normal speed, Standard map size, Temperate climate (to reflect the season theme). We also use the following game options: No Tech Trading, No Vassals, No Events, No Huts, Aggressive AIs, Choose Religions.
The top two leaders from each opening round game move on to the playoffs. (There's also a Wildcard game as well.) Then the playoff games funnel into a championship game at the end. Winning leader is always the top leader, followed by highest leader by game score for second place.
What are the details on the prediction contest?
We run a contest to see who can predict each game most accurately! Then after watching the game setup, submit your predictions following the links on the website.

Why are you playing FTL?
It's a great game! It also works extremely well for Livestreaming audiences.
What are your current goals for FTL?
I'd like to win on Hard difficulty with all 28 ship layouts, then write about the successful runs on my website.
How's it going so far?
Finished! I've won with all ships on Hard difficulty and have managed to get my non-variant winrate up to about 80-90 percent.
You should use this mod for FTL!
I don't really use mods for any games. In the case of FTL, the base game is excellent and challenging in its own right.

What is Master of Orion?
Master of Orion (MOO) is a turn-based empire building strategy game that came out in 1993. This is the GOG version, an emulation through DOSBox.
Why are you playing such an ancient game?
Master of Orion is one of the greatest strategy games ever made. I'm quite serious, some of the mechanics in this game have never been bettered, and I've played a lot of strategy games.
So what's the deal with the current game?
No game underway currently, but I'll likely be back at some point down the road. Stay tuned.
What do you think of the other Master of Orion games?
MOO2 is a good game in its own right, although not quite up to the original. MOO3 is one of the worst strategy games ever made, and essentially killed the franchise. It's a real shame.
Hey, there's a new Civilization game out. Is this one any good?
It's not perfect, but in my view it's a lot better than Civ5. The city-building mechanics and economic development are excellent in Civ6; the combat and the AI still need a lot of work.
I ended up getting about two years worth of content out of Civ6, and that's not bad for a strategy game. For much more information on Civ6, please check out this link on my website.
Why is only one character alive???
These are solo games! I stick with a single job class and use a single character. Makes things more interesting.
What is the Four Job Fiesta?
The Final Fantasy Five Four Job Fiesta is a challenge play of FF5 where players get one random job from each of the crystal sets in the game. My last Four Job Fiesta took place in July 2017.
What other restrictions are you using?
I'm playing under the Classic and Natural restrictions. The Classic setup limited my random jobs to the six present in the original Final Fantasy. The Natural restriction means that each character must stick to their assigned job with no mixing and matching of skills.
Why are you fighting every battle?
There's an endgame weapon called the Brave Blade that loses one attack power every time your party runs from battle. Besides, it's more fun to stand and fight all monsters.
What's the best Final Fantasy game?
No. Just no.

How can I get better at DDR?
Short answer: practice, practice, practice. I've been playing this game for over ten years now. Longer answer: follow the link above and read some of the strategy tips on my website.
What's your DDR setup?
I'm using a Cobalt Flux pad with a USB controller box adapter, along with the latest version of Stepmania. I own nearly all of the American PS2 DDR games. Don't bother asking me where you can download songfiles.
Are you still going to play Rogue Legacy?
Yes, but certainly not as much as before. I've done a full character playthrough with all of the classes, and written about them exhaustively on my website (see the link above). There's not that much more content to explore here. I'd like to do the remixed boss fights at some point, hopefully we'll get a chance to see that.
What about Rogue Legacy 2?
Rogue Legacy 2 is in early access and looks fantastic thus far! We'll definitely be streaming more RL2 and running variants once it officially releases.
