Maia's lore is based on the fairytale Thumbelina (Fun fact: Thumbelina was published in 1835 hence the birth date)! She was born out of a tulip deep in the misty grove, but unlike all fairies/birds, was born without any wings. Maia is searching for her flower fairy princette but can be super hard to travel without wings. After wasting all of her two cents Ubering around, she started streaming instead to find her true love that way! Maybe when Maia finds her flower fairy princette her wings will appear~ 💚
