I have recently achieved my initial goal of obtaining world record for the FF7 100% speedrun category (full Kynos definition), with a time of 17:47:45.

So far, this is my first completed run, and so it's both my PB and my worst ever time. My short-term focus is now on improving the route, with an eventual goal of getting a sub-17 hour run. Getting a time below 17 hours will be challenging, but is certainly possible.
Previous WR was 18:27 by ClassikHero, although this run did not include the 5 minute Zack's Fate cutscene/"sidequest". The previous 99% record (100% but the runner forgot something) was 17:59 by ClassikHero, when he forgot the Premium Heart.
I have fully rerouted the 100% category. Some highlights of the new route include a steproute, early Gold chocobo breeding, and early chocobo racing.
Tifa hates when runs die at chocobo racing.
