Games for Love wants hospitalized children to have more to look forward to than the treatments and routines they have to face every single day. They do that by providing these children with computer games and consoles to distract them from the suffering they have to endure and to break up their daily routines.
And if Games for Love’s mission for these hospitalized children isn’t enough, they’re extending their efforts to delivering gifts to patients, honoring the hospital staff who work tirelessly around the clock and all in all, doing everything they can to bring joy to these children through the power of gaming.
Games for Love is continuing to make an impact in more than 200 hospitals around the world and helping kids heal, survive and even thrive by providing them with distraction therapy through consoles and computer games to spark some joy in their lives.
With COVID-19 into the picture, it’s even more important for these kids to receive these games to distract them because the Games for Love team can’t visit them in-person at the hospitals and visitors are limited in general. They’re relying on your donations to bring these games to the children because to some of them, that’s their reason to get out of bed.
