Hi! Welcome to our channel! We are Video Games are Good, a community that champions the positive in the video games industry.
Our niche and purpose is to practice unbound optimism and generous compassion when it comes to the games we play and the developers who bring them to life. Without diminishing the harm that can exist within the industry and gaming fanbases, we aim to uplift the hard work poured into our favorite games, support the natural human drive for creativity and storytelling, be thorough and constructive reviewers, amplify diverse creators and stories, and whenever possible advocate for healthier and unionized work environments.

We often stream games related to what we're doing at VGG, and we love to craft some wacky stream events, like our annual VGG Campout 24-hour streams every November.
Nate (he/him), the editor-in-chief and founder of VGG, who is the quintessential jack of all trades, master of none. He's waiting for the FF8 remake one day, no matter how delusional that might be.
Fern, or Julie (they/them), is the VGG’s deputy editor and your cozy vibes king. Equal parts romance novel and narrative game enthusiast, they run Fern’s Book Club, our visual novel stream series.
Fish (he/him), is our resident horror expert and often appears on the channel to deliver scares and game event coverage alike. He’s also cracked at FPS and extraction shooters. Find him at FishpasteGG on Twitch.
