Why did I start gaming, you ask? lol
My youngest daughter started streaming in 2023. I would join her here and there on her stream. She started playing Words on Stream and I loved the game. One day @RainmanGames and his girlfriend, Cass were playing hide and seek and found their way into her stream. They were super nice to her. So I started watching @RainmanGames. I was lost cause he was playing Elite Dangerous. Each time she streamed I would ask her to put on Words on Stream. One day she said to me that she didn't like the game, so I asked why she kept streaming it. She said cause I kept asking. lol So that day I decided to start streaming myself, just so I could play Words on Stream. After about 3 months of watching Rainman play ED, I decided to try. And I loved it!!! @the8bitgentleman started mentoring me January 2024 and I slowly became obsessed. lol. In my 50's I started gaming! Thank you to the ED community who took me in and have been super supportive!

I am a 5 Element Dragon Fire Reiki Master Teacher. Helping others is a passion of mine. I am a former elementary school teacher and had an autism charity for 11 years. A lot of things have changed for me lately, March 2025. How I understand the world. How I understand myself. I have been struggling a little bit with this information, but I do believe knowledge is power. Let me start from the beginning. My oldest daughter was diagnosed with autism in 2003. She was 20 months old. She and I worked very hard to help her get to the person she wanted to be. I am beyond proud of her! The beginning of 2025, my youngest daughter wanted to get herself tested for autism. She didn't present the same way as my oldest, but I will always support my children! When her testing came back that was autistic, it made me look in the mirror. My youngest and I are a lot alike in so many ways. Could I also be autistic and have had no idea? Is that why I never really fit in anywhere? Why certain things were so hard for me and easy for others... and vis versa? I needed to get some answers. At 55, I received the diagnosis that I am autistic! And I am honestly so proud of who I am and what I stand for! I now understand where my anxiety actually comes from too. I will now use some of the strategies that I learned to help myself. I am beyond proud of the bravery of my youngest daughter to get answers so young! It takes decades for most women to get diagnosed because we present differently. I am and will always be unapologetically me! This station means a lot to me! More than words can express! I chose to do a Tier 3 station as my first station in my 2nd system; not realizing how much work that would be. Then....IRL stuff took over and I just knew I would never be able to do the Tier 3. I talked about probably not being able to finish that station on my stream and without my knowledge quite a few commanders planned streams to help me. Many commanders filled up their carriers and brought them to the station to be unloaded. I was and still beyond blown away at the love this community showed me at a time that was extremely difficult IRL. The station is perfectly named Labor of Love! Thank you to the incredible commanders that worked so hard to get this Labor of Love up and running!
