Hey, I'm Qaantar ("can-tar").
I stream a lot of different things -- reading manga in Japanese, playing video games, making music, drinking tea... who knows what else. Come and join the fun, hang out and relax!
I decided to start streaming in early July of 2022, after losing a good friend.
I've been studying Japanese for many years, but I am by no means an expert. I read at about a 6th grade level, and so I'm streaming to keep improving and to have fun reading through manga in the process!

I've been learning Japanese in very roundabout way, so I don't have any great recommendations for books and such (but if you're still in school, definitely consider taking Japanese as a course).
Here are some things that might be useful:
Hiragana, katakana. Get some flash cards and start learning the two kana scripts.
Zkanji. A free, open-source dictionary.
Grammar. Tae Kim has an excellent free guide to Japanese grammar.
I'm going to be composing a "video game song cycle" -- but without words! Long story. Here's the short story, I'm currently whittling down the different poems/songs for the cycle. Here's the list -- if you see something I might add, drop me a DM!
