I prefer playing multiplayer games. If you want to play with me, all you need to do is to download AmigaLive, DosBox, Mesen, MAME and/or Parsec depending on the system. Hit me up in the chat and we'll get you set up for some online multiplayer action!
If multiplayer isn't an option, I'll replay games I had back in the day or check out some new interesting ones (new to me that is). NES, Amiga and MS-DOS were all an important part of my childhood/youth and nostalgia is my main motivation for playing any video games (like I imagine it being for most retro gamers). My stream layouts are set up in the way I remember each gaming system and what I played them with (TV/monitor).
While single player games are fine, it was always the most fun to play together! And that's why I organize tournaments using AmigaLive (check the next panel).
Coming up in 2024:
Commands:
I sold my NES and pooled money together with my big brother to buy him an Amiga 1200 and then I got his old A500. Got it in the 5th grade and sold it to get money for my first guitar in '98 I think.
If you want to play with me, download AmigaLive from http://www.amigalive.com. That's all we need. With the app you can also take part in online tournaments I host on the AmigaLive Twitch channel. Sign up for tournaments here: https://amigalive.com/gametime/events
Coming up in 2024: Trying to beat The Settlers, SWIV and Seek & Destroy for the first time. Maybe speedrunning Superfrog and Turrican II.
Multiplayer games I like:

To do (maybe):
NES was the first gaming system I had in my own room growing up. Got it when I was in 2nd grade or so. Before NES I had only played pong and a little bit on my brother's C64.
I'm using the original controllers with a USB adapter... and my thumb doesn't like it.
Coming up in 2024: Finish the remaining games in my childhood library: Metal Gear and Mission: Impossible.
For singleplayer I use Mesen. For multiplayer action I prefer using Fightcade for ease and lowest possible latency. We've had some desync issues though so might have to go with Retroarch sometimes. IF you want to play with me, you need the game roms but Fightcade itself can be downloaded at https://www.fightcade.com/
Multiplayer games I like:
Singe player games I had back then (all finished on stream except for Duckhunt, Hogan's Alley, Probotector, Super Mario Bros., Tetris and Wild Gunman because who'd want to see that?)
Other games that interest me:
Finished on stream:
Started playing MS-DOS games when I was in the 6th grade but at the time I was still mainly focused on my Amiga. Eventually I went PC only.
Coming up in 2024: Taking part in #DOSember again. Possible games: Jazz Jackrabbit, Aladdin, Lion King, Outrun, Earthworm Jim, Wolfenstein 3D...
Want to play with me? If the game doesn't support online multiplayer itself (like Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games or Duke Nukem 3D) we could use the Parsec low latency streaming client for multiplayer purposes.
Multiplayer games I like:
Finished on stream:
Single player games I still plan to finish (again for some of them):
I mostly like running games no-one has run before... mostly. I enjoy routing and exploring glitches or skips more than the actual grind.
Even though I mostly pioneer runs (that's why I have so many WRs), I do try to push my records to the limit where I don't think I could do any better (otherwise I can't really let go).
