This is mostly where I record my speedrun attempts and chat with cool people during the run. Feel free to chat as much or as little as you want and I'll try my best to keep up.
I've also do weekly science communication on here. My focus is in cognitive science and psychology, as that's what my PhD is in. If you have a suggestion for a topic you'd like me to cover, please join the discord and send me a DM.

Constructive feedback for improving the quality of the stream (e.g., audio tweaks, layout recommendations, alerts) is welcomed. I want this to be an enjoyable viewing experience for everyone. I'm not technically adept about a lot of stuff required for top quality streaming, so please don't hesitate to offer suggestions.
Keep things family-friendly to the best of your ability and I will do the same. Things will slip from time to time, and that's okay, but be careful not to overdo it on the language. My current stance is "everybody gets one" and then I or the mods will start reminding everyone about the rules.
Harassment or prejudice of any sort will not be tolerated. No exceptions.
Feel free to give me advice for any game I'm speedrunning, because I've always got more to learn.
I like speedrunning, but I am not motivated to grind out really impressive run times. I'm content to just learn a run until I'm comfortable with it, get a decent enough time, and then move on to another game/category I want to run. Here's my speedrun.com profile. Not every game or category I run has been or will be submitted to the leaderboards. Some games are just for fun and I don't yet have motivation to seriously run them.

By training and background, I am a cognitive scientist with expertise in experimental psychology (mostly cognitive psychology). The majority of my research has focused on studying belief in pseudoscience, conspiracies, and superstitions. But I've also contributed to research on human-robot interaction, social cognition, and the neuropsychology of brain injury.
