Hi friends!! 💗
When I started streaming, I looked up on Amazon 'Cheap Gaming PC' in order to start streaming and ordered something that cost $200 which is all I could afford.
As you can imagine, it is a POS. LOL!! I can't even stream a basic game like Among Us on it through Steam. I tried to upgrade the graphics card but that won't work as it doesn't have enough power supply.
It's worked to get me this far in my streaming journey, but it can't take me any farther than this.
I am very fortunate to have meet some amazing friends, like ProfOrProf, who is helping me learn how to build a PC that will last me forever and enable me to not only stream properly, but to be a proper PC Gamer and do randomizers, stream Steam games, have a better high-def quality webcam image - literally all the things so that I can bring you the best version of me daily!! 💗
The thing is, I am not in a position to be able to afford to build/upgrade anything PC related. I moved countries from the UK to Canada 7 months ago and that was a very expensive endeavour, and I am still finding my footing back in Canada and getting my life on track after 6.5 years in London.
Everyone has been so generous helping me raise money for getting a PS5, but I think that money would be better spent towards a PC that will last me a lifetime and I can be able to stream for you all daily with the BEST quality possible!
If you're able to help and would like to donate towards me building my first-ever PC, that would be life-changing for me. And I will be enternally grateful!
There are many ways you can help, by subbing, cheering bits, gifting subs etc - but giving a tip here avoids any deductions being taken from Twitch.
I truly appreciateyou all for helping me get this far in my streaming journey and I am enternally grateful to everyone who shows up for me everyday, whether you're able to donate or not - that doesn't matter! Being here and being a part of my growing community, hanging out with me and chatting to me when I'm live means the WORLD and is a massive support to my growing channel.
💗 THANK YOU SO MUCH AND LET'S SMASH SOME GOALS! I LOVE YOU ALL! 💗
Hi! I am SarahStrat, Souls Stratigest.
I am so happy you're here and want to give you a warm welcome into the community!
I have been wanting to stream since the creation of Twitch, but never took the plunge until 2024. It's never too late to go after a passion of yours, so here I am!
I am absolutely loving meeting other gamers and streamers, and the incredible communities here on Twitch.
IRL I am an author and actor, who loves fantasy with a passion. I wrote a self-help book called 'Positive Power: 12 Steps to Mastering Your Mindset', and I am currently working on a fiction novel. My pen name is Sarah Hall, so if you're looking up my books, that's the name you'll find them under!
I grew up gaming.
The 90's for me were full of Super Mario, The Flintstones, Kirby and more on NES. Then NES was followed by gaming on other consoles like N64, GameCube, PlayStation, PS2, PS3 and onwards to today. Paper Mario on GameCube anyone?? I loved that game... wonder if I can find it to replay..? Hmmm!
I'm a Souls Veteran who started playing FromSoft games back in 2009 with the first release of Demon Souls on PS3.
It all start when my younger brother called me up and told me about this co-op game called Demon Souls that which we just HAD to play together.
So off to the store I went to buy the newly released Demon Souls, not knowing what I was in for.
My brother, the GOAT, called me on the phone and walked me through the areas that I needed to get through solo in order to unlock co-op, and it was... HARD.
I had never played a game like this before. But then I completed an area, and another, and another, and we got to play together for hours online as host and phantom, swapping between our worlds, clearing difficult area after difficult area, beating boss after boss.
And it was... incredible.
So thus began my journey into my favorite gaming series of all time.
I ended up pre-ordering each Dark Souls game that followed on release, happily beating them and the exhilarating challenge that came with each completion.
I took a hiatus from gaming entirely for 6 years when my sister passed away in late 2016. I had beaten Dark Souls 3 in April of that year, and she passed away in July 2016 tragically.
I went on some adventures for many years after losing her and traveled the world, moved to the UK and lived in London, wrote books, acted, experienced a lot of things.
Then I started to miss gaming, which had been an integral part of my entire life, bringing me so many great memories from my childhood and onwards.
There was an itch that needed to be scratched and I was finally ready to become a streamer.
That brings me to today, where I am now deep into my love for gaming once more and sharing that with all of YOU!
So yes, I am extremely happy that you are here and I hope you love the content and vibes as much as I love bringing them to you daily.
Welcome to my streaming journey.
