Hello and welcome!
My name is Sarzac! I'm a necromancer VTuber who is taking a break from raising the dead to play some video games. I get a lot of support from my two Welsh corgis, Winston and Arthur! Some of my most loved game series include: Castlevania, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, Devil May Cry, Doom, and Mortal Kombat. My favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VI.
I have been streaming since 5/14/2021 and became a Twitch Affiliate on 10/9/21. On 8/21/22, I started as a VTuber. I tend to focus on retro games, RPGs, survival horror, and certain online MMORPGs. Currently, I am streaming four times a week, each of which is themed. On Mondays, I play Castlevania games - the goal here is to go through every Castlevania with every playable character, all notable ports included. Thursdays are games that have spooky elements to them! Fridays are RPG nights where I'm focusing right now on the classic Phantasy Star series, with some occasional other RPGs interspersed for some variety. Saturday nights are Phantasy Star Online nights where I play some version of PSO, from the original Dreamcast version to its current iteration of PSO2: New Genesis. I also have Sunday Mid-Month Marathons where I stream 12 hours of a particular (mainly retro) game series.
I almost always stream from original console hardware; use of emulators here is rare, though occasionally I do have to use them. I've been a video game collector most of my life and have a pretty sizable collection so this is why I prefer to game this way.
While I don't claim to be amazing at the games I play, I do try to play all of them through completion. I do not use in-game cheats, save states, rewinds, etc. I might struggle on a section or boss for a bit on a game I have never played before (or one I haven't played in many years), but ultimately I should figure it out and get through it - this is part of what I love able video games (the figuring it out aspect) so please do not backseat / tell me what to do unless I specifically ask chat for assistance.
I've completed two big gaming projects on the stream. The first was my Castlevania Project of beating every Castlevania, every notable port, every character (61 games in total; 5/14/21-11/11/24) and beating every Resident Evil game in narrative order (all characters, canonical games only; 5/20/21-9/22/23)
My stream is adult-oriented / 18+. I curse and yell like a sailor when a video game is being stupid (so if you like old AVGN episodes, you'll probably have a laugh at my rage) and I sometimes make inappropriate jokes.
That said, there are certain rules I expect all viewers to follow.
Bigotry of any kind expressed to anyone or any group will not be tolerated and you will be banned on a first offense.
No political/social issues discussions. This is not a channel to discuss these topics and I am not interested in your views on them so don't bring them up - this is a channel about video games.
Do not backseat. I've been playing video games since the Atari 2600. I've beaten hundred of games, several deathless and 100%. I enjoy figuring things out whether its a puzzle, difficult boss fight, etc. and I don't mind if it takes awhile to do it. If I want help, I'll ask the chat, in which it is then fine to offer advice, but if I haven't, then don't.
Don't advertise your stream, channel, content, etc.
Don't be overly lewd. A little lewd is okay, but there's a line that can be crossed, and if you cross it, I'll delete your comment.
If you know me in real life, do not reference me by my real name, my job, etc. Doxxing isn't cool.
Do not trauma dump, do not bad mouth other streamers, do not be a negative downer on chat.
If you send me a DM on Discord or some other messenger service, I will not look at it until the stream is over - when I'm streaming, I'm focused on the stream.
Always listen to my mods. I always have their back.
That said, if your comment gets deleted, don't take it personal because it isn't personal - its about maintaining the environment I want for this channel. Just roll with it and move on.
My current schedule is:
There are also my Sunday Mid-Month Marathons where I do a 12-hour stream of a particular (mainly) retro game series. Check the Schedule tab for upcoming ones since the date here somewhat varies.
First of all, if you give a donation, I really and do truly appreciate your kindness. Donations help alleviate the cost of things that go into the channel, such as hardware, games, giveaway prizes, etc. Please do not ever feel obligated to donate here. That said, donations are always reinvested into the channel to help improve it. PayPal or a major credit card is required for donations. Donations are also not refundable. Just click the donate button above to help out. :-)
I also have a Throne page that allows you to send me gifts if you want to - the link is below for those interested!
If you are even thinking of subscribing to my channel, THANK YOU! As with donations, please do not ever feel obligated to subscribe, but if you do, please know that any funds I make from the stream are reinvested into it to help improve things here.
The following perks exist for subscribers:
Any stream that is the last for that particular month will have a giveaway that randomly occurs some point during the stream. You must be a follower or subscriber to enter the giveaway. Prizes are not announced until the End of Month stream begins. Followers get one ticket per giveaway whereas subscribers get three tickets per giveaway. End of Month Giveaways are only advertised here and in the chat channel.
Also, each month there will be a follower and subscriber goal - if these goals are met by the End of the Month Giveaway Stream, each will unlock a new prize to be given out on that same stream!
So yay, free stuff! =D
