Hi, I'm scurty. I'm currently speedrunning Ocarina of Time. I try to stream about 5 times a week. Usually start stream at 6am-10am EST. No specific days because of rotating work schedule. My current category is MST. Current goal is sub 2 hours.
Below is a list of speed runs I have done.
Dampe digs up a heart piece 10% of the time. The likelihood you will get the heart piece by the nth try is (1-.9^n )(100)%. So, statistically, the Dampe average should be 6th-7th try (50%). But it's totally random unless you let him walk around the entire graveyard, in which case if you do not have the heart piece by the last dirt patch, he will give it to you. But that is slow, so we take the 10% odds and roll with it.
I've been keeping track of my Dampes in runs and have an ongoing list. I will organize this list better as it grows but for now it is just the Dampe tries in the order I have gotten them and the average.
