WHY DID YOU GET INTO CHESS? i'm asking the same question. my (CM) dad fell in love with the game after being gifted a chess set from his parents (my grandparents!) so, naturally, i've had to follow in the footsteps of his wisdom. more seriously, i really value being able to appreciate and share a hobby with my dad, not everyone has that.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING CHESS? considering my dad has played since he was young, i've been around it my whole life. i played tournaments quite a bit when i was a kid, took a break in high school. gained an interest again for it in 2022.
OTHER INTERESTS/STUFF? i have a passion in film/media, as well as teaching and working with kids!
