It was so.. immediate, one moment there was darkness, and then, She stood! She walked, she climbed a crater...she fumbled and fell. She stood again, she climbed and rose above it all, a So So Sophie doll, alive and aware.
The doll made her way into the city under cover of night, quickly adapting to concepts like buildings, people, and that she should not be seen. After some wondering she came across a familiar sight, a toy store, something compelled her to go inside.
Once inside she was able to get a good look at herself, disheveled and gross. How was she moving, perceiving, existing? Just then a light came on...the store's manager was apparently still there and saw Sophie moving on her own and reasonably freaked out!
Once the woman, Vyxen, realized she wasn't about to be the victim in a chintzy horror film, agreed to take Sophie home so they can figure out where she came from.
After cleaning the gross doll up and discarding her outfit, Vyxen agrees not to make things messier by getting the authorities or government involved. Instead Sophie and her set out to discover her origins and her place in the world!
