Another way that you can be a huge help to the stream is by LURKING. Lurking is keeping the stream open in the background while you're running out, doing other things or simply viewing without being active in chat. This is super helpful to your favorite streamers by helping boost their viewership!
In order to count as a viewer though, you must keep the stream at 1% volume or more. I have also heard that if you mute the browser tab (but NOT the stream), that it still counts as a viewer.
