Another way that you can be a huge help to the stream is by LURKING. Lurking is keeping the stream open in the background while you're running out, doing other things or simply viewing without being active in chat. This is super helpful to your favorite streamers by helping boost their viewership!
In order to count as a viewer though, you must keep the stream at 1% volume or more. I have also heard that if you mute the browser tab (but NOT the stream), that it still counts as a viewer.

Here are a couple tips to enhance your viewing experience:
Enable "Dark Theme" on twitch, by clicking on your icon (top right) and selecting "Dark Theme". Most people think that this is much more pleasing to our precious eye orbs.
Download the 7tv browser extension so that you can see all the emotes people are using, in chat, while gaining the ability to use them yourself, too!
