I'm Deirdre (Dee) and I've been making playlists and DJing my entire life. 🎶
I began working as a Traffic Director at 91.7 FM WSUM in 2005. I had a weekly funk show and was a proud friend and supporter of Clyde Stubblefield every Monday at the King Club.
In 2007 I became founding member of 107.1 FM CHIRP radio in Chicago. We lobbied from 2007-2010 to pass The Local Community Radio Act which was signed into law by Barack Obama on Jan 4, 2011. This allowed low power FM broadcasting for community radio stations across the country! We built a station to broadcast in a warehouse on the North Side of Chicago.
Now you can find me playing all varieties of ~H O U S E~ right here on Twitch.
I will forever support my Midwest DJ's and producers. Chicago and Detroit CREATED House and Techno and I've been blessed exist around humble, hardworking, down to earth selectors, producers, and music aficionados.
