April is Parkinson's Awareness month, so each April we fundraise for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. For 2025 my campaign raised $3,136.38 and our team campaign raised $3,296.38. Every dollar raised helps bring us closer to finding a cure for Parkinson's. Thank you to everyone for your support!
I am a lacemaker, I shuttle tat and teach beginner shuttle tatting to new learners. I am in the US in the Eastern time zone but I'm a bit of a night owl so I might be around later than others from the area.
There are many great videos that teach tatting, so I didn't see the need to create more. I did decide that streaming on Twitch while tatting might be fun. I can answer questions and do demo's in real time, and maybe introduce this fun craft to new people. I love taking vintage patterns and making them into modern jewelry.
My goal is to inspire others to want to learn this craft. Tatting is a fun skill, join me! I take requests, if there is a technique you'd like to see or if you have a vintage pattern you need help with, let me know.
Check my schedule to see what's planned each week, most of my streams are about tatting but Friday is game night! I'm not good but it's just for fun, and usually I play with friends so you never know what might happen.
This is my full time job. Streaming, teaching classes, selling supplies and occasionally selling jewelry are my main sources of income.
P.S. I do consider the channel to be 18+ so I don't moderate my language, and I tend to swear a bit, especially when I make a mistake.
