Below, I keep a whitelist of streamers I've approved for the Automated Bunny Tender™ to put on the telly for the buns. These are people I will always visit when I am watching Twitch, and I like to think the bunnies enjoy seeing them, too.

The Tiki Room's origins date back to October of 2023. After becoming a home owner in Palm Bay, Florida, I discovered that the fill soil in Palm Bay neighborhoods (including my back yard) is mostly sterile, and therefore won't support much of a garden. Buying soil is expensive, and composting takes a long time. So, my solution was to start breeding rabbits - you can grow anything in rabbit manure! I produce a useful amount of the food I eat using my rabbit manure, and lots of what the rabbits eat comes from my garden! The bedding I use in most of my rabbit homes is cardboard clippings, which soaks up everything and goes straight into my garden beds after I change it out.
Bottom line? It can be. I know that, and thought about it before I made up my mind about breeding rabbits. It's why I specifically chose meat rabbit breeds to specialize in. The rabbits you see in the Tiki Room are Satin and Mini Satin rabbits, and are technically livestock rabbits, which have been bred specifically to have a high meat-to-bone ratio and rapid growth rates at lower feed rates.
Personally, I don't generally eat my rabbits; but, I'd be a very hypocritical hunter if I claimed to have never killed a rabbit. At the Tiki Room, I simply stop breeding rabbits when I don't have room for more, since I have no appetite for killing a creature I've loved. My rabbits are offered with microchips so I can identify Tiki Room bunnies, and therefore every bunny can be returned to the Tiki Room free of charge. My dream is that every family should have a pair of rabbits in their back yard making fertilizer for their vegetable garden. In hard times, you might be glad you did!
They may indeed! I have limited control over what my customers choose to do with their property. However, to date it hasn't happened (I'll try to update this if that changes, so I won't be made a liar) as most of my customers are looking for breeding stock of their own, or pairs of brothers or sisters for pets. I'm also planning to participate in rabbit shows once my pedigree rabbits start reaching maturity and I find offspring with good body characteristics. I'm excited to see if the colony format of my rabbitry produces quality show rabbits!
I use the "Heat" Twitch extension to make the stream clickable. Anyone can click on a camera in the bottom row at any time to switch the main view to that camera. You might need to grant permissions to the Heat extension (it's on the right hand edge of the video screen) for it to work.
I wanted to do something to share the Twitch community with my bunnies instead of only sharing my bunnies with the Twitch community. So, when the automatedbunnytender does a shout out, it will also change the channel playing on the Tiki Room Theater to match! The screen is positioned so relaxing bunnies can watch and listen to the show. They enjoy upbeat music!
