We created this stream with one thing in mind - to provide relief during times of stress, anxiety, and peril.
In 2016, a person came to our door selling Red Eared Sliders. They had one left, and on a whim we decided to buy it. Having never owned a turtle before it quickly turned into a hobby.
2018 came, and was a very bad year for us mentally. At times the thoughts would be overwhelming. Anxiety took control and sent us down a dark path. Those feelings would be temporarily lifted while caring for little Stanley, to the point where it became our therapy - a therapy we share with you today!

Oscar was found locally in an aquarium that was thrown away. We wanted the aquarium and pulled it from the trash only to find a turtle the size of a quarter inside on the verge of death - now he is THRIVIN!
Name: Nacho Type: Pink Bellied Side Neck Age: 2 Tank: Nacho Tank
Nacho is our Pink Bellied Side Neck and hails from Australia! She is a very unique turtle and loves to ZOOM and HIDE (seems contradictory I know)
Name: Mac Type: Koi Age: 1 Tank: Nacho Tank
Mac is our second generation koi in the Nacho Tank! Never away from Cheese for too long, as they are siblings, together forever!
Name: Cheese Type: Koi Age: 1 Tank: Nacho Tank
Cheese, a second generation koi in the Nacho Tank is siblings with Mac! Cheese gets his name from looking like someone threw a slice of cheese on their face.
Name: Chestnut Type: Plecostomus (Pleco) Age: 1 Tank: Main Tank
Chestnut is the algae eater originally for the Nacho Tank - however with a large amount of algae being produced in the Main Tank, he has been bumped up to the majors!
Name: Skully Type: Goldfish Age: 2 Tank: Main Tank
A family member surrendered Skully to the tanks in October of 2021! Skully is named so due to the white coloring on his head. He is also missing a fin ala Nemo.
Name: Charlie Type: Goldfish Age: 3 Tank: Main Tank
Starting out as a tiny feeder fish, Charlie was never nommed on by the turtle and has lived a long life in the tanks with the turtles! Charlie used to have a small black "mustache" - hence the name Charlie (Chaplin)
Name: Goodie Type: Koi Age: 3 Tank: Main Tank
Goodie is a very special colored koi, she is mostly gray in color! How do we know she is a she? She pooped a LOT of eggs in the tank once! I MEAN A LOT.
Name: Jay Z Type: Koi Age: 3 Tank: Main Tank
The second koi ever put into the tanks, Jay Z has been with T&C since the start of the stream. Loves to give Goodie kisses!
