It's hard to understand social cues and get into the rhythm of a community's conversations and the jokes made, it's okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them.
There are very limited times that I've banned people in chat and all of them had everything to do with not following the three rules.
I try my best to make sure everyone feels welcome here, but please feel free to call out any behavior that doesn't follow the above. Everyone deserves the chance to learn how to interact with others.
