Q: What is your training background? A: I started playing at age 10 in the public school system. I had 4 good years of training and then I was on my own to maintain the skills I learned and pick up new skills.
Q: Do you read sheet music? A: While I can read sheet music, I don't use sheet music for the purpose of Violin Karaoke. Everything I play on stream is learned and memorized.
Q: So what are you looking at when you're playing? A: I'm looking at the karaoke video's lyrics to make sure I know where I am in the song.
Q. Is there a reward for completing certain levels of Hype Trains? A. If we complete a level 5 Hype Train, I will do TWO songs blindfolded. Complete a level 10 Hype Train, and I will do FIVE songs blindfolded!
Q: Why do you play 2 different violins? A: They are tuned differently; the key of the song dictates which violin I use.
Q: What is your favorite music genre to play? A: Not really a genre, but I live for 90's music!
