I’ve always loved House Music and admired the art of DJ’ing. Back a long while ago when I first started driving, I had the opportunity one weekend to mobile DJ. I quickly cobbled together a home-made DJ’ing solution consisting of thousands of MP3’s, a desktop tower PC with two soundcards, a copy of Virtual Turntables and a simple external 2-channel mixer with a 3-band EQ.
Since that very short mobile DJ stint, I have been a follower of music/artists. As cheesy as it sounds, I have felt something was missing from my life and realised it was a lingering desire to get back into the art of mixing.
In November 2019 I bought myself a birthday present, a Pioneer DDJ-200 and started playing around, then during lockdown to pass the time with the family we live streamed a set. The enjoyment led to upgrading to a DDJ-1000.
Since then I have fully immersed myself into the Twitch DJing community and streaming regularly and enjoy watching and learning from others in the community.
