Zophar has been playing video games since 1985. He spent time in the emulation community as the founder and overseer of Zophar's Domain from 1996-2000. After spending two decades focusing on his full-time career and family, he began part-time streaming on Twitch in January of 2022. He now enjoys casual retro gaming on his streams and chatting about the past, present, and future. Come stop by, watch him play video games (warning: rage may ensue!) and enjoy the show!
Consoles that Zophar has owned include: Atari 2600, Gameboy, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, Nintendo DS, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox 360, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. Zophar is also the proud owner of a NES Mini, SNES Mini, and Sega Genesis Mini.
While Zophar will play nearly any genre, RPGs are his preference. Some of his favorite games include: Lunar: The Silver Star for Sega CD (and its "complete" remake), Lunar: Eternal Blue for Sega CD (and its "complete" remake), Shining Force I & II for Sega Genesis, Final Fantasy III for SNES, Shenmue I & II for Dreamcast, and the Gabriel Knight Trilogy on PC.
